International Bladder and Prostate Symptom Score (IBPSS)

The International Bladder and Prostate Symptom Score (IBPSS) is derived from the International Prostate Symptoms Score (IPSS), an established and validated tool in the assessment of men’s urinary tract symptoms. The score captures symptoms reflecting both bladder and prostate function, forming a vital tool in the management of enlarged prostate, related bladder dysfunction and other lower urinary tract symptoms in men. The score can be used to assess the impact of current symptoms as well as tracking the impact of any treatments.
